Passenger Lifts with low pit and headroom (Less than 100mm pit) but full height lift car and ceiling supplied with swing hinged landing doors or fully automatic telescopic doors

Lifts which travel at 0.15 metres per second are not subject to the requirements of the Lift Regulations. Instead they fall under the Machinery Directive 2006/EC/46 which allows installation, especially in situations where there is minimal headroom and a shallow pit. As a result, Lifts can be fitted to many situation a traditional Lift cannot – which makes them a popular choice for retro-fitting in houses, shops or anywhere that has upper floors and needs to comply with the DDA/Equality Act.

All Machine Directive Lifts (MDLs) are rigorously tested and awarded a CE mark – your guarantee of quality
